Pastor Derek Iddings's journey with the Lord began when with his salvation and faith in Christ beginning on July 5th, 2015. Just a few years in his walk with Christ he accepted the call to preach and has received an associate's degree online from Andersonville Theological Seminary. Pastor Derek is currently working on his bachelor's degree from Andersonville Theological Seminary as well. He felt the call from the Lord toward Pastoral ministry during a sermon preached in 2021.

His pastoral journey began in April 2023. With prayer and guidance from the Lord, as of September of 2025, the congregation voted to change the church name to Biblical Baptist Church. Pastor Derek has a heart for soul-winning, staying true to biblical doctrine, and seeing families restored and individual growth amongst believers.
